suzusan

"Arimatsu Narumi Shibori" is a traditional Japanese craft that has continued since the Edo period.

The fifth generation of Suzusan Shoten established this brand in 2008 in Düsseldorf, Germany, with a studio in Arimatsu, Aichi Prefecture.

Since its establishment, the brand has been planned in Germany, where it has a more global view of the region, and produced in Arimatsu, the production ground of "Shibori".

Tie-dyeing produces hundreds of different patterns through simple techniques such as sewing with a needle, binding with thread, and pinching with a board.

Since all the work is done by hand, no two pieces are alike.

Under the concept of "handmade work that fits lifestyles around the world," they take over the traditional techniques that have been handed down over the years, and create products that fit people's lives.

Designer: Hiroyuki Murase (Japan)
